November Monthly Goals

Hello and welcome to the first November Friday!

The first week of NaNoWriMo is nearly over and it’s definitely been one hell of a week. That being said, there are still monthly goals to go over and as time is words let’s jump right in.

October was busy with all the prepping that was going on and as a little reminder my goals last month were...

Create Preptober checklist 💚

As said before, I already had this goal completed but it was a first step in everything I needed to accomplish during October.

Finish everything on Preptober checklist 💚

Thanks to my kanban board this goal was REALLY easy to achieve once I broke everything into weekly chunks. The pressure to get it all done wasn’t as intense as it had been last year and I’m grateful for that.

Read 4 books 💚

Also this was the last time until December that I would be able to dedicate so much time to reading. My reading list did get switched up a bit but I still loved every book I read during October. I’m really looking forward to December though.

Exercise 3 times a week 💚

With everything I had going on because of Preptober and the fact that I managed to catch a cold didn’t make this goal an easy one but I’m proud to say I managed it despite everything.

Complete requests 💚

Not only did I complete requests but I also managed to dish out some extra fics AND begin outlining for a few stories I want to work on during December so I can put them out next year.

I so proud that after a rough few months I was finally able to complete all my monthly goals. October really is the month of motivation for me. I’m really happy with the way October turned out and I’m hoping everything I did will help me succeed in this month’s goals.

November Goals

Writer 40,000 words

Yes, yes I am going to be striving towards that wonderful 50,000 but the past three years have taught me that I can usually achieve at least 40,000 and since I’m all about setting achievable goals, that’s where I’m setting my sights.

Read 2 books

To be honest, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to achieve this goal but I’m putting it on here regardless. Reading is to be used as my relaxing thing after a long day of writing so I’m hoping I’ll manage reading two books. It all depends on the word flow so we’ll see.

Exercise 3 times a week

I have certain tasks to relax the mind and keep it healthy but exercising will be good for keeping my body healthy. NaNoWriMo is pretty much the time of year when my butt stays glued to my chair so exercising is going to be really important this month.

Again, not a month with a lot of goals but one goal in particular is going to keep me busier than ever. Here’s to reaching all the goals this month and surviving NaNoWriMo!

Until next week!

✿ Happy reading and writing to all and to all a good day ✿
