Hello and happy Friday to you all!
It seems so long ago when I first did the Author Answers posts and now I’m back today with an Author Answers Reading Edition. This is going to be a bit of a short one for the fact that there weren’t many reading questions to be found and I have decorating as well as wrapping to do.

What are your favorite genres to read?
I love to read fantasy and historical fiction. Fantasy is my favorite way to escape the world around me while historical fiction is a combination of two things I love, history and fiction.
What are your least favorite genres to read?
My least favorite genres are mystery and horror. I have nothing against these genres or anyone who enjoys them but they just aren’t for me. I prefer watching horror movies and mystery is simply boring to me.
If you could date any fictional character, who would you date?
In general I would date Loki but seeing as he’s from a movie and not a book I would have to go with Sirius Black (Harry Potter series), Seth Clearwater (Twilight saga), Alice Cullen (Twilight saga), or Jackson Hunt (Shadow Demons saga). They’re in no particular order and I’m positive I’ve left a bunch of people out but this list will do.
What children’s books did you read when you were a child?
My favorite book as a child was “The Velveteen Rabbit” but I enjoyed Dr. Seuss, the Harry Potter series, and the Magic Tree House series as well.
Do you think there are any books that have changed history?
There are plenty of books that have changed history. Poetry books by poets like Langston Hughes, books by Jane Austen, and I must also add the Harry Potter series because it opened the world up to levels of imagination we had never known before. Once again I know I’m forgetting books but honestly I feel like every book changes the world in its own way.
How do you feel about movie novelizations?
I don’t really have much of an opinion on them. I feel like if there’s enough story there to create something and that’s what you want to do then by all means go for it. Now book to movie adaptions are something I have strong opinions on but that’s a story for another day.
If you were to wear a costume, which character from any book would you like to dress up as?
I would love to dress up as Victoria Gardella from Colleen Gleason’s Gardella Family Vampire Slayers series. I’m sure you all were expecting me to say Hermione or something but I’ve already adorned my cloak (Slytherin of course) and masqueraded as myself through Harry Potter studios in London so I had to go for something different.
As I said this was a bit of a short one but I hope you enjoyed yourselves nonetheless. I would love to see your answers too!
Until next week!
📚 Happy reading and writing to all and to all a good day 📚
